Job title: Assistant Manager HR with experience in hiring ecommerce, social media and retail.Location: Marol AndheriWorking days: Mon to Sat, 10 am to 07 pmJob Summary'The Assistant Manager HR will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations and office administration to ensure smooth functioning of people processes and workplace operations. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support employees across the lifecycle—from onboarding to exit—while maintaining compliance and a positive work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman ResourcesHandle end-to-end employee lifecycle management: onboarding, documentation, confirmation, and exit formalitiesMaintain and update employee records, HRIS data, and personnel filesRecruitment activities: Job post on portals, shortlisting, screening, interview scheduling, coordination with candidates and hiring managersAssist in payroll processing, attendance, leave management, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, etc.)Address employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefitsSupport performance management processes, appraisals, and HR reportsEnsure adherence to company HR policies and labour lawsSupport employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and internal communicationAdministrationCoordinate procurement of office supplies, assets, and inventory managementManaging our office pets. Scheduling doctors appointment, filing the reports of doctors.Support travel arrangements, logistics, and event coordinationOverall Administration work.Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of HR operations and admin processesKnowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliancesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of confidentiality and integrityStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with HRMS/payroll systems is an advantageQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldMBA / PGDM in HR preferredExperience4 years of experience in HR & Administration rolesExperience in FMCG, retail, D2C, or startup environments ONLY.
