PURPOSE OF ROLE:The SAP Basis Lead will support all technical areas of our growing, global business which runs on SAP’s Fashion Management Solution. Candidate will be responsible for the availability and guaranteed uptime of all enterprise-capable systems, applications and solutions. The candidate must possess a deep understanding of all SAP’s tool sets to deliver stable and trusted SAP solutions to the business. This position will be the go-to person for all escalations for the SAP system landscape that supports the data flow between our SAP systems and multiple internal and external systems and partners. This position will be responsible for maintaining these interfaces across the SAP ecosystem.YOUR IMPACT (Job Responsibilities):Responsible for the management of the SAP environment. Responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting all SAP landscapes covering all the technical environments on an ongoing basis as well as scheduling and executing the SAP transport system. The Sr. Lead collaborates with all parties to resolve SAP transport and source code problems by helping research OSS notes and interprets them to help the functional teams decide on the course of action Responsible for the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP systems. Additional areas include the evaluation and design of interfaces between SAP and external systems, maintenance of the SAP Data Dictionary and database objects if needed. The Senior Lead is also responsible for helping to ensure that any changes and migration of any application code or program configuration to be moved through the SAP landscape accordingly. A key area of responsibility is the documentation and updating of the existing SAP environment and work with IT and business units to modernize the SAP environment. The SAP Basis Sr. Lead must possess the ability to analyze situations and provide problem resolution. Must have Excellent written and oral communication skills. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or master's degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience or typically 12 years of relevant work experience without degree Monitor backend SAP Systems so that issues can be proactively corrected prior to any business impact. Provide third level support to the support partners to reduce the time to resolution window. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed, both internally and with our external partners. Work closely with our SAP HEC provider, ensuring they are meeting the needs of Under Armour in a cost-efficient manner. Prepare outage notifications and technical support specifications, to enhance the process by which business requirements are needed and work with our all our partners to provide a very good user experience. Serve as Level 3 support for our UA basis team, and all our support partners to resolve issues Works independently with limited supervision Lead large enterprise projects Hands on experience in multiple full life-cycle SAP ERP project implementations or major cross functional projects required. Must be able to demonstrate expert ability in the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP systems and heterogenous landscapes Experience with the AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution) and/or FMS (Fashion Management Solution) are preferred. Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Proven experience working as part of a global team is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and committed to meeting deadlines. Must be a self-starter, proactive, and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must have Strong consumer-centric focus with proven customer service or support experience. Computer Skills Operating system (SUSE or Windows) Databases (SAP HANA, SQL Server, Sybase / MaxDB) Beside these technical skills a person should have an aptitude for troubleshooting, triaging and being able to escalate issues and a passion for learning new technologies.
