Apply today.About the Role:We’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who thinks beyond test execution and actively shapes how quality is built into store experiences. You naturally anticipate risk, influence design for testability, and help teams deliver reliable, scalable solutions—whether it’s a POS backend service change or a complex Android DSP workflow running in real store conditions.In this role, you’ll lead quality efforts across our legacy POS ecosystem and modern Android based DSP applications. You’ll partner closely with developers, product managers, architects, and other QEs to define test strategies, drive automation, and embed quality throughout the SDLC. You’ll also play a key role in evolving our shift from vendor heavy testing to an engineering led Quality Engineering model.This is a hands-on senior role with influence owning quality outcomes, mentoring other QEs, strengthening automation and observability practices, and helping teams release with confidence at scale.What You’ll Do:Own Quality Strategy for Store Experiences:Define and drive test strategies for complex DSP mobile and POS features across multiple releases.Ensure requirements are testable, clear, and aligned with real world store scenarios.Proactively identify risks, edge cases, and quality gaps early in design and planning.Lead as a Core Agile Team Member:Act as the quality voice in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and design discussions.Partner closely with developers to influence architecture, testability, and automation design.Support release readiness decisions with data driven quality insights.Elevate Automation & Engineering Led Quality:Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test suites (Appium/Java, Cucumber preferred).Embed automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe, and repeatable releases.Reduce manual regression dependency by identifying high value automation opportunities.Strengthen Regression & End to End Coverage:Own and evolve regression strategies as products and platforms scale.Ensure strong coverage across mobile, backend services, APIs, and integrated store flows.Manage test data and environment readiness for reliable end to end validation.Drive Quality Through Observability & Production Insights:Leverage tools like Splunk, Firebase, Dynatrace, and Quantum Metric to assess production health.Analyze production defects to identify systemic issues and prevent recurrence through automation.Use data to influence prioritization and continuous improvement.Support Real World Store Reliability:Validate behavior across devices, OS versions, peripherals, and network conditions.Use Android Studio, Charles/Proxy man, and mobile device labs (Kobiton, Sauce Labs, etc.) to test in realistic scenarios.Ensure consistency and stability across environments and hardware variations.Mentor & Scale Quality Capability:Mentor junior QEs and help uplift team wide quality and automation skills.Contribute to standards, best practices, and reusable quality frameworks.Help onboard and guide global QE teams as part of an engineering led model.What You Bring:Required Qualifications:5+ years of Quality Engineering experience.Strong hands-on experience with POS systems and instore retail applications.Deep experience testing Native Android applications.Proven expertise in automation using Selenium/Appium/Java and Cucumber.Experience testing APIs, backend services, and complex integrations.
