Experience - 5+yrsLocation - Bengaluru (includes on-site to France)As customer support engineer, you will join SII Customer Support team who is in charge of customer support activities for Airlines A/C on ATA 34 and ATA 22 systems.As a Customer Support Engineer you will be in charge of discussion with Airlines and Authorities concerning the operability of the aircraft. Questions from Airlines are mainly regarding functional, operational or documentary.KIND OF REQUESTS RECEIVED :• Issue during a flight which needs investigation and/or recommendation for the troubleshooting• Reporting event (during flight, before / pre flight, after flight)• Recommendation for maintenance action• Request about System (function, option, interchangeability, mixability, evolution, upgrade, ...)• General question about the system• Questions about documentation or document explanation (maintenance tasks, pilot documentation, etc), SIL, TFU. This kind of question can also be sent to department managing this kind of documentSkills Required :• ATA 34 - Radio Navigation and Surveillance Systems : (E)GPWS, ILS/MMR, WXR, TxCAS, RA, XPDR, GPSSU, VOR/DME, AESS, etc…• ATA 22 - FMS and Auto Pilot• Experience in a technical support, trouble shooting or similar role. Atleast a strong Aeronautical background; knowledge in avionic systems.• Maintenance skills• System developpement skills (Design Office)• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
