The role is responsible for the governance and policies of Network Access Control (NAC) for Marriott International global environment - standards based implementation, systems integration, process / procedure development and refinement, and technical support.Required:Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or related field or equivalent experience/certification4+ years of information technology experience, with 2+ years of experience in information security in some or all of the following:network access control, vulnerability and compliance management, identity and access management, or risk and security logging and monitoringnetworking design and concepts to include TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalls, virtual route forwarding and VLANs.performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, risk analysis, supportability and effectiveness analyses for various tools and solutions, performance and capacity management.Preferred:Current information security certification, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); CCNA; Forescout Certified Administrator (FSCA); Forescout Certified Engineer (FSCE)Familiarity with security frameworks CSA, NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, etc.Thorough understanding of the following security technologies:Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)Log ManagementVirtual Private Network (VPN) Remote AccessDemonstrated experience with:Learning and Applying Professional Expertisemultiple areas of network security productsOS platforms (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android)common network security threats, as well as best practices to mitigate themStrong network layer knowledgeTechnical skills to identify and assess cloud security vulnerabilities and risks SrMgr-Information Security | Bethesda, Maryland | marriott-internal Page 5 of 9 7/31/2019Expertise in researching & evaluating identified vulnerabilities and risks pose to the organization's information and systemsExcellent communication skills and problem solving abilityDemonstrated ability to work independently and with othersAbility to manage the details and compliance with standards and expectationsTechnical infrastructure operations, administration, or engineering backgroundLead the development of network security requirements and success criteria through collaboration with internal and external customers.
