Role: Deputy Manager / Manager - Human ResourcesLocation: BangaloreExperience: 6 to 10 yearsIndustry Preference: Insurance / BFSIWork Mode: Work From OfficeRole Overview: The HRBP will partner closely with business leaders to drive business‑aligned talent outcomes, ensure workforce productivity and cost governance, strengthen team capability, and deliver actionable HR insights. The role combines hands-on Talent Acquisition ownership with strategic HRBP responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Business-Aligned Talent & Workforce Outcomes:Drive high employee engagement and foster a strong feedback culture across teams.Proactively manage employee relations to reduce ad-hoc grievances and escalations.Identify early attrition risks and implement retention actions for critical and top talent.Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, productivity, and wage bill governance.Support departments in managing cost, productivity, and manpower efficiency.Talent Acquisition Effectiveness & GovernanceOwn end-to-end recruitment delivery while improving recruiter productivity and quality of hires.Drive cost-per-hire optimization and monitor adherence to defined hiring budgets.Ensure governance around offers, hikes, and increment recommendations in line with policies.Track and achieve direct hiring targets while maintaining cost and quality metrics.Publish regular TA MIS, dashboards, and hiring insights for stakeholders.HRBP & Employee Lifecycle ManagementAct as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees on policies, performance, and people decisions.Manage the complete employee lifecycle—from onboarding to exit—including employee connects and performance support.Ensure HR processes are consistently applied and aligned with business needs.Team Capability Building & Succession PlanningBuild HR/TA team capability through strong process adherence and continuous improvement.Develop internal succession pipelines for HRBP and TA roles.Enable cross-functional exposure to create a ready bench for future roles.Drive retention and development of high-performing HR team members.Governance, KPIs & Performance DisciplineEnsure clear KPI ownership and performance accountability within the HR and TA teams.Track team performance strictly against KPIs and outcome-based metrics.Drive disciplined execution through regular reviews and performance discussions.Strategic Reporting & InsightsDeliver quarterly HRBP reports with insights that enable decision-making and action.Partner with business leaders to identify improvement areas using data-driven analysis.Use HR data to generate insights beyond reporting—focused on productivity, attrition, and talent risks.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience as an HRBP with hands-on Talent Acquisition exposureAbility to balance operational execution with strategic workforce thinkingStrong stakeholder management and business partnering skillsData-driven mindset with strong Excel and HR reporting capabilitiesExperience managing HR metrics, governance, and compliance
