WordPress / WooCommerce Lead (E-commerce & SEO Specialist)Location: Remote (India-based preferred) Travel Requirement: Twice monthly visits to Delhi office and twice monthly visits to Assam factory Employment Type: Full-TimeRoleWe are looking for a skilled and proactive WordPress / WooCommerce Lead to manage, optimize, and scale our e-commerce website. This role combines technical execution with strategic thinking and is critical to our online growth. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of our WordPress platform, ensuring a seamless, high-performing, and conversion-focused user experience.ResponsibilitiesWebsite Management & DevelopmentManage and regularly update the WordPress website, including landing pages, product pages, and static content.Ensure responsive design and smooth user experience across devices.Maintain site structure, navigation, and performance.WooCommerce Store ManagementUpload and manage products, including descriptions, pricing, variations, and images.Maintain accurate catalogs aligned with inventory and sales strategies.Configure WooCommerce settings such as shipping, taxes, and payments.Implement pricing strategies like MOQ, bulk discounts, and role-based pricing.Advanced WordPress FeaturesUse Elementor for page building, including mega menus and advanced layouts.Work with in-house plugins such as:MOQ-based pricing by user roleAlerts system for special offersAdvanced coupon logicSEO pluginsTroubleshoot plugin and functionality issues.SEO ImplementationOptimize pages using SEO best practices, including meta tags, URLs, headings, and internal linking.Improve search rankings, indexing, and site visibility.Monitor performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.E-commerce StrategyImprove conversion rates through better UX and structured content.Implement upselling, cross-selling, and campaign-specific landing pages.Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional execution.Image OptimizationPerform basic image editing and optimization for web use.Ensure consistent quality and fast loading times.Performance & Server Optimization (Preferred)Monitor and improve website speed and uptime.Optimize caching, database performance, and CDN usage.Work with Linux-based VPS environments for basic performance tuning.Collaboration & TravelAttend strategy meetings in Delhi and Assam twice a month each.Work with cross-functional teams to align website execution with business goals.RequirementsTechnical SkillsMinimum 1 year of experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.Strong understanding of modern WordPress themes and Elementor.Experience with SEO plugins and e-commerce tools.Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS preferred.E-commerce & SEO KnowledgeUnderstanding of online sales strategies and conversion optimization.Experience managing product catalogs and pricing strategies.Working knowledge of on-page SEO.Additional Skills (Preferred)Experience with Linux-based VPS hosting and optimization.Familiarity with caching, CDN, and performance tools.Other RequirementsStrong English communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to work independently in a remote setup.Must own a laptop and have reliable internet.Willingness to travel regularly as required.What We Are Looking ForWe are seeking someone who takes ownership, thinks strategically, and executes efficiently.
