Greetings from /"HCL Software/"HCL Software which is a Product division of HCL Tech!!Job Summary:We are looking for a Senior / Lead Documentation Engineer / Technical Writer in our AppScan Product team (Remote Location) with 8+ years of experience who possess the following skills: Role Summary: We are looking for a Documentation Engineer to own the end-to-end documentation lifecycle for the AppScan product suite. This role requires translating complex technical capabilities into clear, user-centric content while staying closely aligned with engineering and release cycles.Required Skills & Experience: -Strong technical writing expertise with the ability to simplify complex conceptsHands-on experience with documentation tools integrated with development ecosystems (e.g., Jira, GitHub).Experience using AI-enabled documentation tools (e.g., Oxygen AI Positron or similar).Familiarity with documentation translation/localization processes.Experience managing content in GitHub repositories is a must.Key Responsibilities: -Create, maintain, and deliver high-quality product documentation, technical notes, and knowledge articlesCollaborate closely with engineering teams to understand features and ensure accuracyOwn documentation for key product components and drive consistency across releasesAlign documentation with UI changes, feature updates, and release timelinesManage documentation in Git-based repositories and contribute to documentation workflows.Good to Have: -Technical background (e.g., QA, development, or similar engineering roles)Exposure to application security or enterprise software products.
