Company DescriptionJoin a rapidly growing US-based healthcare engineering firm delivering state-of-the-art facility designs for some of the largest healthcare systems in the United States.Our team is actively involved in complex hospital projects including surgical suites, imaging centers, and critical care environments — where engineering precision directly impacts patient care and outcomes.We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer who can operate independently, take ownership of design, and contribute to high-performance project delivery alongside our US-based team.This is not a typical remote role — we are building a high-performance engineering team supporting critical healthcare infrastructure projects across the United States, with the opportunity to grow into a key contributor within a high-performing US engineering team.Why Join Us•      Work directly on US healthcare projects with leading systems and facilities•      Exposure to complex, high-acuity environments (ORs, imaging, critical care)•      High level of autonomy — engineers are trusted to lead their scope•      Long-term opportunity with a growing US-based engineering firm•      Opportunity to grow into a key contributor within a high-performing US engineering team.Job Responsibilities•      Lead electrical design for healthcare, hospitality, and commercial projects from concept through construction.•      Independently execute electrical design packages with minimal oversight while maintaining alignment with US codes and project requirements.•      Serve as Lead Design Engineer responsible for full project execution from concept through construction support, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and low-voltage systems.•      Oversee QA/QC of all electrical designs, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA 70, NFPA 72, NFPA 99, NFPA 110, IEEE).•      Coordinate with US-based teams and support responses to AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) review comments.•      Mentor and guide junior engineers and associates, conducting technical reviews of their work.•      Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural) to deliver integrated MEP solutions.•      Lead code compliance reviews and respond to plan review comments from authorities having jurisdiction.•      Develop and refine internal drafting and design standards to improve team efficiency and output quality.Qualifications•      Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 7–12 years of progressive experience in electrical building design for commercial or healthcare projects.•      Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit/BIM required.•      Demonstrated experience leading project teams and managing project deliverables from concept through construction administration.•      Proven ability to independently deliver complete electrical design packages (load calculations, one-lines, panel schedules, coordination with other disciplines).•      Ability to make sound engineering decisions independently without reliance on step-by-step direction.•      Strong understanding of electrical system coordination including one-line development, load calculations, and equipment sizing•      Thorough understanding of NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA 72 (fire alarm), NFPA 99 (healthcare facilities), NFPA 110 (emergency power), and applicable IEEE standards.•      Strong knowledge of power distribution design including switchgear, transformers, panelboards, generators, and automatic transfer switches.•      Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.•      Experience working on US-based projects and familiarity with AHJ review processes strongly preferred.Preferred Skills•      Experience with healthcare facility design (hospitals, surgical suites, imaging centers, pharmacies).•      Proficiency in electrical calculation software (SKM Power Tools, ETAP, EasyPower, or equivalent).•      Knowledge of lighting design software (AGi32, Dialux, or equivalent).•      Experience with essential electrical system (EES) design for healthcare facilities per NFPA 99 — life safety, critical, and equipment branches.•      Familiarity with nurse call systems, fire alarm systems, security systems, structured cabling, and other low-voltage/technology systems.•      Experience with arc flash studies, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies.•      Knowledge of energy code compliance (ASHRAE 90.1, IECC).Work Requirements•      Reliable high-speed internet connection capable of supporting video calls and large file transfers.•      Availability for partial overlap with US Eastern Time (EST) working hours.•      Willingness to work extended hours when required to meet project deadlines.•      Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance, deadline-driven environment.•      Must be comfortable communicating directly with US-based team members in a professional environment.Benefits•      Competitive Pay•      Performance Bonus•      Flexible work hours.•     2 weeks PTO
