The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Indian customs processes along with hands-on exposure to cargo handling and freight forwarding.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with airlines to obtain and negotiate freight pricing.Assist in managing import and export clearances.Ensure adherence to customs regulations and internal compliance processes.Collaborate with vendors, airlines, transporters, and internal teams to ensure competitive pricing smooth operations.Keep yourself updated on country compliances and drive through SOPs as well as documentation.Track shipments and provide timely updates to stakeholders.Support in resolving operational issues and escalate complex cases when required.Act as a point of contact for critical customer escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.Drive customer experience by maintaining service quality and improving metrics such as NPS.Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 3-8 years of experience in cargo handling, freight forwarding and custom clearance.Knowledge: Basic understanding of customs documentation, import/export processes, and operations.Skills:Strong communication and coordination abilitiesGood problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and process-oriented mindsetAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
