Location: Southeastern IndiaClient: A reputed co-educational school affiliated with the Cambridge Board and the International Baccalaureate (IB)A well-established international school in the southeastern region of India is seeking to appoint an experienced and visionary Head of School to lead its academic, operational, and strategic direction.Role Overview:As the Head of School, you will be responsible for defining and driving the school’s vision, academic excellence, and long-term growth strategy. You will oversee all aspects of school operations — including academics, faculty leadership, student outcomes, and institutional development — while working closely with the governing body and senior leadership team.The role requires a leader who can balance academic rigour, global standards, and organisational excellence, while fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Define and drive the school’s vision, mission, and long-term strategyOversee academic delivery across Cambridge and IB curricula, with a focus on IBDPEnsure high standards of teaching, learning outcomes, and university placementsLead, mentor, and manage senior leadership team and facultyDrive recruitment, retention, and professional development of educatorsOversee day-to-day school operations, administration, and governanceManage budgeting, resource allocation, and financial sustainabilityEnsure compliance with IB, Cambridge, and regulatory standardsBuild strong relationships with parents, board members, and external stakeholdersPromote a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and student-centric learningQualifications & Experience:Postgraduate degree in an academic discipline from a recognised universityMandatory completion of IB educator trainingMinimum 25 years of experience in education, including:At least 7 years as Head of an International SchoolDirect experience with IBDP implementation and leadershipWhat We're Looking For:Proven leadership in international education (IB + Cambridge exposure preferred)Strong strategic thinking with the ability to scale and grow institutionsExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership presenceDeep understanding of global education trends and university pathwaysAbility to build and lead diverse, high-performing teamsCommitment to innovation, student-centric learning, and academic excellenceApplications are open to international candidates meeting the experience criteria, subject to their ability to be locally based and commute to the school on a daily basis.
