You will bring a rare blend of hands-on technical depth, strategic account management, and fiscal rigor to manage large-scale offshore teams.In this role, you will spearhead BFSI, CPG, and Supply Chain Analytics initiatives, ensuring that complex challenges translate into scalable, production-grade solutions. You are not just a delivery lead; you are a business owner responsible for the P&L of your unit, a strategic partner to our clients, and a growth catalyst for the organization.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Delivery & Portfolio Management● Offshore Leadership: Lead and scale offshore teams of 50+, ensuring excellence in the delivery of BFSI, Supply Chain analytics, and enterprise AI projects.● End-to-End Ownership: Oversee the full lifecycle of data solutions—from structuring ambiguous business problems to deploying predictive/prescriptive models in production.● Governance: Architect scalable data frameworks and ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, validation, and security.2. Account Management & Growth● Client Farming: Identify opportunities to expand Straive’s footprint within existing accounts by pitching new AI/Analytics use cases and service lines.● Strategic Roadmap: Partner with onshore teams to develop 12-24 month digital transformation roadmaps for key clients.● Retention & Satisfaction: Act as the ultimate escalation point for delivery, ensuring world-class CSAT (Client Satisfaction) scores and long-term partnership retention.3. P&L & Operational Excellence● Financial Accountability: Own the P&L for the delivery unit, including revenue forecasting, margin management, and budget adherence.● Resource Optimization: Drive high utilization rates and optimize the pyramid structure (Junior/Senior mix) to protect gross margins without compromising quality.● Contract Management: Oversee SOW (Statement of Work) creation, contract renewals, and commercial negotiations to ensure profitable engagement models.4. Client Advisory & Stakeholder Management● The Bridge: Act as the primary conduit between offshore technical teams and onshore business stakeholders to ensure total alignment.● Executive Presence: Engage directly with Director and VP-level stakeholders to define analytical approaches and present complex insights as actionable business strategies.5. Hands-on Technical Guidance● Advanced Analytics: Guide teams in applying Machine Learning, AI, and Operations Research (OR) to solve real-world problems.● Tech Mentorship: Conduct deep-dive reviews of Python/SQL code and model architectures to maintain technical rigor across the floor.Qualifications & Skills● Experience: 15–18 years of total experience, with at least 8+ years in a leadership role within a specialized AI/Analytics consulting environment.● Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of managing a P&L of $5M–$10M+ and a history of successfully /"farming/" and growing client accounts.● Domain Mastery:○ BFSI/CPG: Deep expertise in Supply Chain or Banking/Insurance data frameworks and migration initiatives.● Technical Stack:○ Core: Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL.○ Data Engineering: Experience with Data Migration and Big Data (PySpark, Hadoop, Hive).○ Cloud/Viz: Familiarity with Azure and Power BI.● Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence VP-level stakeholders and mentor multi-disciplinary teams (Data Scientists, Engineers, and Analysts).● Education: Quantitative background (Engineering, Statistics, Economics) or an MBA from a premier institute.
