Key ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical quality control and maintenance activities for Quay Cranes, RTGs, and eRTGs.Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules, inspection protocols, and compliance standards.Ensure mechanical systems meet OEM specifications, safety standards, and port operational requirements.Supervise mechanical engineers and technicians, providing guidance and training.Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective/preventive measures.Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and improve equipment reliability.Coordinate with operations, electrical, and automation teams for integrated equipment performance.Oversee vendor management, spare parts planning, and outsourced maintenance contracts.Prepare and present performance reports, compliance audits, and upgrade plans to senior leadership.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in crane reliability, energy efficiency, and safety compliance.Required QualificationsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.12–20 years of experience in mechanical QC/maintenance, with at least 12 years in port equipment (QC, RTG, eRTG).Strong knowledge of heavy lifting equipment, hydraulics, structural mechanics, and safety systems.Certification in Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) preferred.Familiarity with ISO standards, predictive maintenance tools, and digital monitoring systems.Proven leadership and team management skills.Excellent analytical, problem, solving, and communication abilities.
