Job Description

The Lead IT Analyst will play a critical role within the /"Order to Delivery/" domain, managing andevolving key complex business processes such as order entry automation, scheduling, order andfinished goods tracking, and EDI with customers. This role involves working with diverse ITsystems and technologies, collaborating with team members based in Europe and India.Initially, the focus will be on processes implemented in the SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP)environment, with a later transition to supporting the re-orientation of current solutions. As a keycontributor to the IT team, the Lead IT Analyst will drive the evolution of IT systems to meetbusiness needs and align with strategic objectives.The ideal candidate will have expert-level SAP knowledge and the capability to independentlymanage change requests and project initiatives. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), therole involves performing technical analysis, development, and solution design while ensuringalignment with complex architectural principles.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTechnical Expertise andDevelopment · Serve as the primary liaison between onshore stakeholders and offshore teams, managing expectations, clarifying requirements, and addressing communication gaps. · Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with SAP expert-level knowledge, capable of managing complex change requests and project initiatives autonomously. He/She is providing guidance and technical support to team members and stakeholders throughout release lifecycles · Mentor and support IT Analysts and developers, fostering knowledge sharing, best practices, and skill development. · He/she is completely technically responsible (application owner) and accountable for his/her concerned application. · Proposes pro-actively valuable solutions to improve the application and its maintenance.Business Alignment and Solution Design · Drive the evolution of IT systems to meet strategic goals. · Translate business needs into actionable IT solutions by understanding business processes and requirements. · Design and validate functional and technical solutions in alignment with the IS/IT Strategic Plan, IT standards, and architectural principles. · Ensure solutions consider system dependencies, scalability, and performance, particularly for complex or high-impact projects.Project and ChangeManagement · Oversee and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines. · Drive the change and release management process, ensuring deployments follow governance protocols and maintain business continuity. · Analyse technical impacts, define solutions, provide estimates and planning, and implement and test change requests.Testing and User Support · Support both business and IT testing to ensure solutions meet required standards and function effectively. · Provide end-user support through the established “User Support” structure.Knowledge Managementand ContinuousImprovement · Safeguard and enhance the team’s technical expertise and process knowledge through active documentation and knowledge sharing. · Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIESYour analytical skills allow you to transform complex business/technical needs into optimized ITrequirements. You have a strong IT background and strong experience in development that allowyou to challenge the architecture and technical solutions, to participate to the development of thesolution and you have the interest and the capacity to manage technical oriented projects. You demonstrate most of these key competencies: · Expertise with SAP SD module (customizing skills, ABAP and debugging) is required. · Processes and IT Systems “minded” · Team player, stakeholder-oriented, ability to understand and adapt to a complex and changing environment · Ability to work in extended teams located in Europe and India. · Relevant experience in a similar function as Lead IT Analyst in another organization (3-5 years) · · Eager to learn and adapt in our highly optimized SAP environment. Flexibility and openness to new technologies are essential, as well as the ability to read, understand and write code. · Ability to perform retro-engineering · English: AdvancedPREFERRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES· Experience and skills in SAP Workflow Management is a plus REQUIREMENTSExperience Relevant experience in a similar function (3-5 years) 8 years of work experience minimum required.
