Our clients include Columbia University, NASA, and many other prestigious organizations. We are currently seeking a Finance Coordinator to join our dynamic Accounting and Payroll team in our Bangalore office.This position will support the Finance and Accounting Team in handling day-to-day accounting processes, assisting in financial reporting, and providing crucial support for budgeting and financial analysis. The role works exclusively out of the Bangalore office.Responsibilities:• Invoice entry and project costing• Recording payment transactions and managing accounts payable/receivable• Credit card analysis and entries• Expense reporting and reconciliation• Responding to vendor and subcontractor inquiries regarding payments and invoices• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes• Prepare regular financial reports for management, providing analysis and recommendations where necessary• Liaise with Insurance Broker and Carrier• Coordinate audits for General Liability and Workers Compensation insurance• Oversee and track Workers Compensation claims• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes• Support the Accounting team with ad-hoc tasks and special projects as neededRequirements:• Education: Chartered Accountant• Experience: 2-3 years of experience post qualification• Experience with Financial Reporting: Prior experience in preparing financial statements and reports is highly preferred• Shift: Experience of working in Night Shift (minimum 2 years preferred)• Software Knowledge: Experience using QuickBooks Desktop (preferred), Microsoft Excel, and other financial software• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors, subcontractors, and managementCompensation:• Salary commensurate with experience
