The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Session Border Controllers, VoIP technologies, and SIP-based networks, ensuring secure and high-quality voice traffic across enterprise and carrier environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage SBC solutions such as Oracle Communications Session Border Controller, AudioCodes Mediant SBC, or Ribbon SBCConfigure and troubleshoot SIP signaling, call routing, and media handlingImplement security features including NAT traversal, encryption (TLS/SRTP), and DDoS protectionIntegrate SBCs with unified communication platforms like Microsoft Teams, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, and cloud contact center solutionsWork with telecom providers for SIP trunk provisioning and interoperabilityMonitor system performance and ensure high availability and redundancyPerform upgrades, patching, and capacity planningTroubleshoot complex voice quality issues (latency, jitter, packet loss)Maintain documentation for configurations, topologies, and proceduresRequired Skills & Qualifications4+ years of experience in VoIP, telecom, or unified communicationsHands-on experience with SBC platforms such as Oracle Communications Session Border Controller, AudioCodes Mediant SBC, or Ribbon SBCStrong understanding of SIP, RTP, SRTP, and VoIP protocolsExperience with SIP trunking, dial plans, and call routingKnowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, QoS)Familiarity with packet capture and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark)Experience with Linux/Unix systems is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Direct Routing for Microsoft TeamsCertifications from vendors like Oracle, AudioCodes, Ribbon, or CiscoExposure to cloud communication platforms and hybrid voice environmentsKnowledge of security best practices in voice networks
