Title: Manager ProductionLocation: Chandigarh University, Gharuan Mohali, PunjabJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced Manager – Production (Stage & Sound) to lead and manage all aspects of stage setup and audio production for live events, shows, and productions. The role involves overseeing stage design, sound systems, technical teams, and ensuring seamless execution of events from planning to completion.Key Responsibilities:Stage ManagementPlan, design, and oversee stage setups based on event requirementsCoordinate stage construction, rigging, lighting, and propsEnsure all stage operations meet safety and compliance standardsManage backstage activities during rehearsals and live eventsSupervise stage crew for setup, execution, and dismantlingSound & Audio ManagementPlan and execute sound system requirements (PA systems, microphones, mixers, monitors)Coordinate with sound engineers for setup, testing, and live executionEnsure high-quality audio output during eventsTroubleshoot audio issues in real-timeOversee sound checks and rehearsals with performersTeam & Vendor ManagementLead cross-functional teams including stage crew, sound engineers, and techniciansManage external vendors, suppliers, and production partnersAllocate tasks and ensure timely executionTrain and mentor junior team membersEvent Planning & ExecutionDevelop production timelines and schedulesCollaborate with event managers, designers, and artistsEnsure all technical elements are ready before event startHandle last-minute changes and on-ground challenges effectivelyTechnical & ComplianceEnsure proper maintenance and usage of AV equipmentMaintain inventory of stage and sound equipmentFollow safety protocols and risk management practicesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Event Management, Production, Audio Engineering, or related field (preferred)Certifications in sound engineering or live production (preferred)Experience Required8–10+ years of experience in event production, stage management, or live soundProven experience handling large-scale events, concerts, or productionsExperience managing teams and vendorsCall me at 8727000753
