Shifts in consumer and trade customer behavior has put considerable pressure on the current operating model. Strategies have been designed and delivered, or are currently underway, to restore Dr. Martens to growth in 2025 and beyond. A number of these initiatives sit in the Global Supply Chain (GSC) domain and need the dedicated expertise and guidance to ensure they deliver upon expectations within the timeframe to support the growth strategy. THE GIG: The Lead BA - GSC is responsible for delivering GSC solutions that meet the needs of the business as we deliver our strategy. This role will partner with the business GSC team to ensure the seamless implementation, integration, and optimization of technology. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, outcome focused D365 Business Analyst. You are passionate about technology and have a deep understanding of GSC processes. You will help manage the functional GSC enhancements from defining business and systems requirements right through to UAT, training and implementation, dealing with high-level stakeholders in a business-critical, fast-moving role.You will report to the Manager for Supply Chain supporting a globally distributed GSC function.Main Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of GSC systems activity to the GSC function conducting issue investigation and resolution, reporting, scenario analysis.Build relationships with the GSC function ensuring good collaboration.Build documented functional and technical specifications for GSC applications.Support the continual improvement of the GSC team through technology, via but not limited to.Development of cross-functional process design.Adoption of business systems and operational best practices.Implementation of conventions & standards (including agreed terminology).Advise on optimal solutions available for immediate business process requirements.Support relationships and management of service levels with third-party service and solution providers.Pro-actively engage GSC stakeholders to influence key business decisions and conduct regular “operational service reviews” to confirm plans, prioritization and delivery are in-line with stakeholder expectation.Ensure that there is sufficient systems process documentation and that security controls are robust and working in line with expectations.You will bring the outside in & keep up to date with emerging technology developments within the Microsoft D365 space, updating business stakeholders of pipeline improvements and the value they could bring.Partner closely with the GSC team to get the most out of Microsoft D365.Analyze requirements, design, specify and implement technology solutions in line with the business and GSC strategy that will add value to the business.Support and develop reliable and efficient technology solutions for the GSC function.Ensure platforms bring automation and improved efficiency to business process enabling maximum return on investment.THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART:Rotational Shift- Weekly Basis- On call.Must-Haves:Experience of configuring and supporting GSC solutions specifically: D365 ERP.Overall, 8-10 years’ experience of supporting, trouble shooting, and RCA of supply chain systems, 6 with D365 F&O SCM Modules, Project implementation.Hands-on experience with ERP systems and integrations with satellite applications.A good background in Product information management, Inbound & outbound freight processes, WMS, TMS, Inventory Management, P2P, O2C etcTrack record in defining, analyzing and documenting business and technical requirements (user stories).Ability to write clear business documentation, such as business processes, Functional design document (FDD), Integration design document (IDD), solution designs, configuration & security protocols, report wireframes and training documents.Proven ability to learn and test new business application functionalities.Experience in agile ways of working.Experience of working on large-scale projects.Adhere to change control policy for all application developments and configurations.Keep on top of system bugs logging, testing and resolution.Work closely with internal and external development teams on application design changes and issues.Support the Test Manager with the design and execution of tests for update releases.Facilitate knowledge transfer amongst peers through proactive cross-functional communications and documentation.Review and challenge current operational processes and information requirements to ensure optimum use is being made of the company's existing system facilities.Strong business acumen and planning skills.Experience in end-to-end global operations within a fashion brand is desirable.Ability to support IT in business partnering the GSC business SME with all continuous improvement endeavors and change initiatives.Regularly liaise with business stakeholders on the continuous improvement roadmap.Experience of configuring and supporting GSC solutions specifically: D365 ERP.ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Expertise – experience integrating D365 into a wider enterprise technology architecture including D&A platforms.Experienced in building functional and technical specifications for integrated solutions across technologies.Soft Skills:Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to think both short and long term.Good communication and stakeholder management skills, both technical and non-technical: demonstrating the ability to work with global supply chain business teams.A proactive, innovative approach to solving challenges and driving change.Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative tech-driven solutions.
