Job Title

Role: This is a full-time role for a Senior Investment Manager based out of Hyderabad. The individual will be responsible for leading the execution of investment transactions made from our balance sheet - both direct investments as well as investments from our fund-of-fund strategy. These investments will be made on a sector agnostic basis with an impact lens. Key responsibilities will include:analyzing industry trends and contributing to the investment thesis including publishing market scan reports;building ecosystem (founders, co-investors etc.) connects through extensive networking;overseeing sourcing and creation of pipeline for investments;undertaking in-depth business and financial due diligence;writing investment memos and presenting investment proposal to investment committee.negotiating term sheets;assisting in legal due diligence and finalization of transaction documents in close coordination with legal counsel; andmonitoring the investments post investing.QualificationsMinimum 8 years of experience in equity investing.Should have led or been an integral part of at least 4 equity transactions.Proven expertise in investment strategy, portfolio management, and risk assessment.Exceptional analytical skills and financial analysis.Proficient in MS office and AI tools for market scans, investment memo, due diligence etc.Experience with investments in impact-driven businesses is an advantage.Behavioural attributesHigh degree of ownership and accountability. Passion for excellence with intellectual curiosity and a learning mindset.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and execute in a time-bound manner.Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, unstructured environment and deal with ambiguity.Excellent written and oral communication and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.
