We are dedicated to reimagining staffing practices with a focus on expertise, seamless processes, and ethical operations.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time, on-site Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team in Indore. The role involves overseeing recruitment strategies, managing employee relations, implementing HR policies, driving employee engagement programs, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture while managing talent acquisition, performance management, and training initiatives to support organizational growth.We are seeking a decisive, assertive, and highly experienced Senior HR Manager who brings both authority andempathy to the workplace. This individual will serve as the backbone of our HR function — overseeing end-to-endHR operations with a structured approach and an ownership mindset. Payroll Management• Own end-to-end monthly payroll processing — zero errors, zero delays.• Manage attendance, leave, incentives, deductions, and payroll validations independently.• Handle statutory compliances: PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, LWF — ensure 100% on-time filing.• Conduct payroll audits and resolve employee salary queries with transparency and authority.• Liaise with finance for reconciliation and ensure accurate disbursals every cycle.2. Overseeing Recruitment• Supervise and manage the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, interviews, and closures.• Partner with department heads for manpower planning and workforce forecasting.• Ensure quality hires aligned with the organization's culture and performance standards.• Track time-to-fill, offer-to-join ratio, and recruitment cost metrics.• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical roles.3. Policy Compliance & Enforcement• Draft, implement, enforce, and regularly update HR policies and SOPs.• Ensure adherence to company policies — zero tolerance for violations.• Conduct policy induction for all new joiners and periodic refreshers for existing staff.• Maintain audit-ready HR documentation and compliance records at all times.• Coordinate with legal/external consultants for labour law compliance and statutory changes.4. Technically Sound HR Practices• Leverage HRMS/HR software for attendance, payroll, performance, and records management.• Generate HR dashboards, MIS reports, and analytical insights for leadership decision-making.• Stay updated on amendments in labour laws, statutory regulations, and HR tech trends.• Implement process improvements to enhance HR efficiency and reduce manual dependency.• Maintain data integrity and security across all HR systems and employee records.5. Grievance Handling & Employee Relations• Act as the primary point of contact for all employee grievances — resolve swiftly and fairly.• Conduct structured grievance hearings, investigations, and document outcomes professionally.• Address interpersonal conflicts, team disputes, and disciplinary matters with firmness and objectivity.• Initiate and manage disciplinary proceedings including show-cause notices, PIPs, and terminations whenwarranted.• Maintain a culture of respect, accountability, and open communication across all levels.6. Office Management & Administration• Oversee day-to-day office operations — vendor management, facilities, supplies, and upkeep.• Manage admin budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.• Coordinate housekeeping, security, travel, and logistics for smooth office functioning.• Ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment in compliance with safety norms.• Liaise with building management, service providers, and government authorities as needed.7. Onboarding• Design and execute a structured, engaging onboarding experience for every new hire.• Ensure all pre-joining formalities, documentation, and system access are completed before Day 1.• Conduct induction sessions covering company culture, policies, processes, and expectations.• Assign buddy/mentor programs and track new joiner integration for the first 90 days.• Gather onboarding feedback and continuously improve the experience.8. Offboarding• Manage the complete exit process — resignations, terminations, retirements, and contract closures.• Conduct thorough exit interviews and present actionable insights to leadership.• Ensure timely full & final settlements, relieving letters, and experience certificates.• Execute knowledge transfer protocols and handover checklists without exception.• Maintain positive alumni relations and uphold the company's reputation during exits.9. Performance Management• Manage complete PMS cycles: goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals, and increments.• Track individual and team performance metrics; flag deviations to line managers proactively.• Support managers in writing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and managing underperformance.• Drive a culture of continuous feedback, recognition, and accountability.SKILLS & COMPETENCIES• Deep expertise in Indian payroll, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, LWF).• Strong command over HRMS platforms and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).• Firm, assertive communication style with the ability to hold difficult conversations.• Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and grievance management skills.• Structured documentation, process orientation, and audit readiness.• Hands-on approach to office and administrative management.• High emotional intelligence balanced with decisive decision-making.• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE• 5-8 years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably in a mid-size or growing company.• Demonstrated history of growing within organizations — someone who builds, not just executes.• Experience building or scaling HR processes from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.• Proven track record of managing grievances, enforcing discipline, and driving compliance at scale.• Experience managing end-to-end payroll and statutory compliance independently.• Demonstrated ability to handle admin/office management alongside core HR responsibilities.• Immediate joiner or candidate on a short notice period strongly preferred.• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent professional qualification.
