Job Title: Credit Manager – Large CorporatesDepartment: Corporate CreditLocation: MumbaiAbout the Role:We are looking to hire a Credit Manager for the Corporate Credit team, focusing on Large Corporate clients. The role involves leading credit evaluation, underwriting decisions, and portfolio monitoring for high-value exposures, while ensuring alignment with internal risk frameworks and regulatory guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Review and approve Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs) for Large Corporate clientsConduct detailed financial analysis, risk assessment, and underwriting of complex credit proposalsEvaluate group structures, cash flows, industry risks, and creditworthiness of borrowersCoordinate with business teams to structure deals in line with risk appetite and policiesMonitor large exposure accounts and identify early warning signalsEnsure compliance with sanction terms, internal credit policies, and regulatory normsReview periodic portfolio reports and highlight key risks and mitigation strategiesHandle escalations related to credit decisions and provide timely resolutionGuide and mentor team members on credit analysis and underwriting practicesParticipate in client meetings, due diligence, and site visits where requiredCandidate Profile:6–12 years of experience in Credit Underwriting for Large CorporatesStrong expertise in financial analysis, credit appraisal, and risk managementExperience in handling complex and high-value credit exposuresCA / MBA (Finance) preferredStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilities
