The role ensures accuracy in data entry, supports bookkeeping tasks, and assists in preparing financial reports specific to the apparel business.Key ResponsibilitiesEnter financial data (invoices, receipts, payments) related to fabric, trims, accessories, and production into accounting softwareMaintain and update ledgers, journals, and accounting databasesVerify accuracy of financial data and correct errorsAssist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets and profit & loss statementsHandle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and job work paymentsReconcile bank statements and resolve accounting discrepanciesMaintain proper records of production, purchase, and vendor billing dataCoordinate with production, merchandising, and accounts teams for data accuracyRequired SkillsStrong typing and data entry skillsBasic knowledge of accounting principlesAttention to detail and accuracyFamiliarity with accounting software such as Tally or Microsoft ExcelPreferable experience in Zoho Books or any ERP/accounting softwareGood organizational and time management skillsBasic computer knowledgeKnowledge of apparel manufacturing accounting entries (fabric, trims, job work) will be preferredQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce () or related field (preferred)Diploma or certification in accounting or data entry (optional but helpful)Experience2–3 years of relevant experience in data entry and accountingPrior experience in accounting or data entry is requiredExperience in apparel manufacturing (woven & knitwear) will be preferredImmediate joining required.
