Job Description

The role involves managing and overseeing all communications for the Leadership Office. The incumbent will be responsible for drafting, coordinating, and delivering a wide range of internal and external communications, including speeches, reports, media interactions, and official correspondence. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across departments and locations to ensure timely, accurate, and impactful communication. Additionally, the incumbent will support communication strategies, maintain archives, contribute to creative campaigns and events, and assist in the seamless execution of multiple projects aligned with organizational priorities.Job Accountabilities Coordinate and oversee the communications received by the leadership office and ensure that appropriate responses are prepared, sent and followed up as required.Draft communications of various nature - letters, email communications, messages, speeches, presentations, quotes, reports and documents, annual reports, foreword, preface, etc.Support the preparation of various media related communications - interviews, press articles and press releases.Coordinate and liaise with various officials/departments in various office locations with regard to communications.Create, Copyedit, proofread and revise communications, both print and electronic in a timely and effective manner.Recommend, develop and implement innovative communication strategies and processes.Ensure that all communications data including speeches / letters / profile / reports /media articles – print and online / invitations are archived and catalogued for reference.Brainstorming creative ideas for upcoming campaigns / eventsSupport the delivery of multiple projects as per timelinesActively participate and play a key role in all the events organized and driven by the teamUndertake any other additional work for the Team as and when requiredExperience and Qualification Necessary: 5-10 years of Relevant work experienceStrong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, advanced analytical & problem-solving abilities, good at ideation and executionQualificationPost Graduation in mass communication/media/journalism (Desirable)Bachelor of Arts in Communication, BA in Media & Journalism, BA in Humanities or Liberal ArtsUnderstanding of online publishing platforms or CMS platforms like WordPressExperience in various Writing Style Guides is preferableSkills Required (Knowledge and Skills)Strong attention to detail, proficiency in grammar, strong vocabulary, and familiarity with business writing standardsHighly proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)Ability to deliver in high pressure and demanding work situations.Ability to meet strict and tight deadlinesAdept at working with multiple stakeholders in complex environmentsSelf-motivated and conscientiousHighly professional individual exhibiting highest level of integrity in handling confidential informationAbility and willingness to take initiative
