The primary responsibilities include conducting advanced research in the assigned field, mentoring students pursuing Ph.D. and M.S. programs, publishing high-quality research papers in reputable journals, and contributing to curriculum development and teaching. The Research Professor will collaborate with industry partners, secure research funding through proposals, and present findings at conferences. Additionally, this role involves fostering an innovative environment and supporting the strategies of the college's academic and research objectives.QualificationsProven expertise in conducting advanced research, writing research proposals, and publishing in peer-reviewed journalsStrong teaching and mentoring skills along with experience in supervising doctoral and postgraduate studentsProficiency in designing and developing curricula tailored to industry needs and academic research advancementsAbility to collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects and build partnerships with academic and industry stakeholdersExcellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skillsExperience in securing research funding and participating in academic and scientific conferencesPh.D. in a relevant field, with a strong track record of scholarly work and research contributionsDesirable: Familiarity with AICTE/Anna University guidelines, and prior academic administrative responsibilities
