Job Title

1. Financial Controlling:• Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management.• Monitor and analyze financial performance, budget variances, and key financial indicators. Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial analyses.• Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities to support business decision-making.• Manage relationships with Banks, Financial Institutions, Tax Consultants and Company Secretarial firms.• Ensuring compliance with statutory and governmental regulations.2. Accounting:• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and standards.3. Audits and Internal Controls:• Coordinate internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit queries.Work experience and skill set:(i) Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, such as a Financial Manager, with experience in the fund management industry being an advantage.(ii) Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and financial reporting standards.(iii) Proven experience in financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Strong understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and compliance requirements.(iv)Proficient in using accounting software and financial management tools.(v) Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance specific to India.(vi) Experience managing financial operations and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and financial planning and analysis.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / related field. A professional accounting qualification is strongly preferred.Budget for the role is 12 -15 LPA
