Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer to lead the design anddevelopment of embedded hardware platforms for our IoT, automation, and electromechanicalproducts used in aquaculture and food processing industries.The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end hardware development, including circuit design,PCB design, power electronics, system integration, validation, and productization.Experience in complete product lifecycle ownership (concept to production) ismandatory.This role requires close collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams todeliver reliable, production-grade products.Key Responsibilities:1. Circuit Design & DevelopmentDesign and develop analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuitsCreate detailed schematics using tools like Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, Eagle, etc.Select components based on performance, cost, reliability, and availabilityDesign subsystems including MCU, power supply, sensor interfaces, and communicationmodules2. PCB DesignDesign multi-layer PCB layouts (26 layers or higher as required)Define PCB stack-up and routing strategies (high-speed, differential pairs, impedancecontrol)Ensure EMI/EMC-compliant layout practices and proper grounding techniques3. Prototyping & TestingBuild and validate hardware prototypesPerform board bring-up, debugging, and troubleshootingUse lab equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, and spectrumanalyzerConduct functional testing, stress testing, and failure analysis4. Hardware-Firmware IntegrationCollaborate with firmware engineers for hardware-software integrationSupport driver development, peripheral validation, and debuggingEnsure seamless interaction between hardware and embedded firmware5. DocumentationPrepare design documents, schematics, BOM, test reports, and release notesMaintain proper version control and engineering change management (ECN/ECO)6. Compliance & ReliabilityEnsure compliance with EMI/EMC, safety, and regulatory standards (CE, FCC, UL,RoHS)Perform reliability testing, including thermal, environmental, and stress testingHands-on experience in debugging field failures and improving product reliabilityis highly preferred7.
