About NationBuildingNationBuilding is a platform committed to inspiring India’s youth to pursue purpose-driven careers and make nation-building a shared mission among the youth of India. We aim to make students aware, inspire them, and engage young individuals to build a sustainable ecosystem for civic participation and innovation.While today’s youth are socially aware and impact-focused many still opt for conventional 9-to-5 careers. This is not due to a lack of intent, but rather limited exposure to alternative pathways, societal pressures for ‘safe’ choices, and the absence of structured entry points into nation-building roles. Recognising both the untapped potential of India’s youth and the constraints around them, NationBuilding seeks to motivate students to pursue careers that directly help in building the nation.Our key initiatives include:Impact Fellowship: It is an applied research program that focuses on solving complex national governance challenges through rigorous analytical methodsNationBuilding Case Study Competition: It is the largest case study competition at an undergraduate level, providing an opportunity to college students to solve governance challenges in India through 4 complex rounds of problem solvingNationBuilding Conclave: Our flagship annual initiative, where pioneers meet purpose, it unites industry leaders to inspire, guide, and empower the next generation with stories of impact and nation building. The inaugural edition was held in New Delhi, featuring four focused panels on NationBuilding Careers, Health, India Stack and AI and the New Economic Era.NationBuilding Impact Chapters: Community of students from India's premier institutions committed to channelising their passion, creativity and problem-solving skills to drive a meaningful change in society. At present we have chapters in 10 colleges in India.Decoding Elections: A panel discussion that simplifies complex state elections through insights from psephologists, pollsters, and academic experts, encouraging critical thinking and a balanced understanding of the electoral landscape of India.What are we looking for?We are seeking content creator who can leverage social media platforms like Instagram, Youtube, X, Linkedin and Threads to produce compelling content that resonates with Gen Z audiences and inspires students to pursue careers in nation-building. The ideal candidate should be capable of building and managing a social media presence from scratch.Roles and ResponsibilitiesContent Ideation & Creation: Develop original, high-impact content (memes, infographics, reels, carousels, short-form videos) aligned with NationBuilding’s messaging.Production & Design: Create platform-ready, visually compelling content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, InShot, VN, Edits, or Adobe Suite.Editorial & Operations: Manage structured content workflows including editorial calendars, review cycles, and publishing schedules while ensuring consistent quality.Platform Growth & Management: Own day-to-day presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X; execute growth strategies, track performance, and optimise using data-driven insights.Trendspotting & Relevance: Stay ahead of social media trends and cultural moments; adapt content formats for maximum engagement across platforms.Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure factual accuracy, narrative alignment, and cohesive campaign execution.EligibilityHave at least one year of experience in building a social media page from scratchDemonstrated ownership of narrative and brand outcomes, not just execution of briefsPossess a strong portfolio showcasing your content (graphics and/or short-form video)Have experience collaborating with teams (writers, designers, videographers, photographers, creators, etc.).Note- This is a contractual role till April,2027.
