Job Title: Robot Operator / Data Collection SpecialistLocation: BengaluruWork Mode: OnsiteEmployment Type: Full-Time Key Skills: Teleoperate robots (Piper/WidowX), manage GoPro/Insta360 footage, and enforce strict data quality standards.Job OverviewWe are looking for hands-on Robot Operators / Data Collection Specialists to support robotic system operations, teleoperation, and high-quality data capture activities.The role involves operating robotic platforms (e.g., robotic arms / mobile robots), recording sensor and camera data, and ensuring operational stability during testing and deployment activities.This is an execution-focused role suited for candidates who enjoy working directly with hardware and robotic systems in a lab or controlled environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and teleoperate robotic systems using controllers or workstationsExecute predefined testing and data collection protocols (SOP-based execution)Record and manage video/data using devices such as GoPro / Insta360 / onboard camerasMonitor robot performance during operation and report anomaliesAssist in robot setup, calibration, and basic troubleshootingEnsure accurate labeling, storage, and documentation of collected datasetsFollow safety guidelines while handling robotic equipmentSupport engineers during testing, deployment, and validation activitiesRequired Skills & QualificationsDiploma / ITI / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Robotics or related field)Basic understanding of robotics or automation systemsComfortable working with hardware and physical equipmentFamiliarity with Linux basics (preferred but not mandatory)Experience using cameras or recording equipment (preferred)Comfortable working in a lab/warehouse environmentWillingness to work in shiftsPreferred SkillsExperience operating robots or automation systemsFamiliarity with joystick/controller-based systemsExposure to ROS-based systems (basic level)Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and connectivity issues
