We’re seeking a detail-driven and proactive Legal Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and brings expertise in legal documentation, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and corporate structuring. You’ll be instrumental in managing contracts, IP filings, risk assessments, and strategic legal processes including M&A and joint ventures.ResponsibilitiesContract Management: Draft, vet, and maintain a repository of agreements, notices, and legal documentsIntellectual Property: File and renew trademarks and copyrights; maintain MIS for all IP assetsLegal Advisory: Support commercial and contractual matters with best practice recommendationsTerms & Conditions: Identify and communicate key contract terms to relevant stakeholdersStakeholder Support: Act as the primary legal contact for internal teams and business headsNegotiation Support: Liaise with internal and external parties on contract terms and pricingLitigation & Piracy: Handle legal disputes and piracy issues independently or with authorities, including visiting courts in all civil matters, coordinating with external counsel, and preparing/drafting necessary legal documentation. Ensure timely filing, compliance with court procedures, and regular updates to management on case progress.Risk Management: Assess and mitigate legal risks in business transactionsM&A and JV Documentation:Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents related to mergers, acquisitions, and joint venturesSupport structuring and negotiation of deal terms, shareholder agreements, and strategic partnershipsDesired ProfileExperience in contract drafting, legal review, and negotiationsStrong knowledge of IP laws (Copyright, Trademark), digital media, licensing, and e-commerceFamiliarity with TRAI regulations, Cable TV Act, and broadcasting lawsUnderstanding of procedural (CPC, CrPC) and substantive laws (IPC, economic offenses)Proficiency in corporate law, labor law, litigation, and complianceExposure to M&A transactions and joint venture structuringExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAnalytical mindset with sound judgment and decision-making skillsPositions Available: 02CTC: 3 lakhs to 8 lakhs based on experience.
