BSV’s focused therapy areas such as women’s health & fertility, for example, makes us one of the only few biopharma companies that manufacturers complex and niche biosimilars, making us a super speciality business.About the RoleRole: Regional Medical SpecialistDesignation: Manager Medical affairs – CC&EMLocation- Hyderabad/Bangalore/ChennaiMandatory MBBS Degree with 1-3 years of experience in critical care/emergency medicine/AllergyResponsibilitiesEstablish oneself as the go-to scientific expert in Critical care, allergy and emergency medicine.Interpreting and disseminating results of literature with focus on establishing key Management principles in Critical care and Emergency Medicine.Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous evolution of scientific knowledge to effectively present the product in different healthcare environments and competitive landscape in alignment with the commercial strategy.Drive awareness and adoption of best practices in allergy and Critical care in the region through execution of strategy through collaboration with societies, conférences, HCP engagement, studies, guidelines etc.Provide insights from key external stakeholders to internal cross-functional stakeholders as needed to guide the Brand and Medical Plans.Provide clinical presentations and medical information to managed markets, government accounts, and other external stakeholders upon request and as appropriate.Create or support the development protocols, and as needed and ensure the content is appropriately reviewed.Advice on Medical Information activities on a proactive and as needed basis.To develop approved presentation material for use in presentations to HCP’s and/or internal colleagues, in support of training programs.Responsible for Clinical promotion of scientific evidence on high medical value products.Actively and effectively participating in various internal and external clinical and scientific education programs, meetings, presentations and other forums.Maintains business and clinical knowledge of the critical care management landscape including current treatment strategies, current and pending competitors, and new therapeutic developments.Maintains clinical expertise through comprehensive education including attendance at relevant symposium, scientific workshops, and review of key journals.Works collaboratively with relevant internal stakeholders to identify local/regional educational gaps/needs and apply appropriate medical support that is aligned with medical strategy.Addresses, administrative and reporting needs on a timely basis or as requested by management.QualificationsMBBS with Certificate or Diploma or MD with at least 1-year work experience with valid Indian registration in NMC/MCI.Required SkillsAbility to travel 50% including overnight travel for conferences, Scientific meetings and other requirements as per territory.Strong interpersonal, communication/ relationship-building and networking skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.Excellent analytic and problem-solving in a fast‐paced environment.Demonstrable ability to engage with customers using multi-channel approaches and platforms.Analytical with the ability to give attention to detail and critically analyses complex data.Excellent organizational and planning skills.Ability to research scientific literature, and write reports, papers and research protocols.Proficiency in Microsoft power point, excel.Preferred SkillsRequires tact, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize work well under pressure.Ability to work independently and interface with various levels.Must maintain all levels of confidentiality and have a professional, positive attitude towards the job.
