We are looking for a Product Development Expert with a background in electrical design to join our engineering department.What You’ll Do:Understand and carry out design and development activities for completely automated CNC machines - prepare electrical schematics, controls, and automation philosophy for the new development products effectively.Plan, organize, and execute projects well within the set target cost and development budget.Lead the design review activities for the electrical work package in the PDP process and strongly promote 'first time right approach' spirit in delivering the same.Ensure and execute the electrical engineering technical disciplines with a primary focus on design, development, and modification of electrical hardware systems.Ensure the selection of OEM components, materials for cables, and control panels for machines.Understand and gather the product specifications, analyse detailed configuration set-up for different optional requirements of the machines.Prepare the technical modifications and special execution requirements for the machines. Coordinate with CFT teams to implement the same on time.Ensure schematic generation using E-Plan and electrical cabinet layout design effectively, using the AutoCAD software.Collaborate with the cross-functional teams and Headquarters teams for project activities to ensure completion of prototypes, pre-series machines within the stipulated time frame with high-quality output.Prepare the BOM, material requirements for the new prototype machines, BOM rules in configurator, create new code, and coordinate with the Engineering Management team for smooth introduction of machines to the production line.Prepare and calculate the new cable carriage list, cable lengths, pneumatic layout, maintain all types of documents required for the assembly team & outsourcing team on a regular basis.Prepare electrical load, design calculations, specifications, PLC I/O list, and documents for the design projects.Understand the problems in machines & systems and coordinate with cross-functional teams & the electrical team in Italy to resolve issues, propose and implement long-term solutions.What We’re Looking For:Strong expertise in electrical concepts and machine tool applicationsHands-on experience in E Plan, Machine safety & Documentation.Experience with BOMProficiency in Eplan Software Knowledge of industrial communication protocols Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and analytical skillsRequirements:Location: Nelamangala, Bengaluru North Experience: 5+ YearsQualification: Bachelor’s degree in electrical & electronics / Electrical or Equivalent.Interested candidates, apply now or share the profile with Shyla C *This announcement is intended for people of all genders.
