Accountant (AIMLEAP – WFH) Experience:4–6 Years Location:Work From Home Mode of Engagement:Full-time No of Positions:2 to 4 Educational Qualification:Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field Industry : IT / ITES / Software Services / SaaS Notice Period:Immediate Joiners PreferredWhat are we looking for4–6 years of professional accounting experience, with hands-on ownership of end-to-end accounting processes Demonstrated experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures Experience with regulatory reporting and tax filings, preferably in a fintech, banking, or financial services environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel — comfortable handling large datasets (thousands of rows), pivot tables, and intermediate formulas (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.) Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems Strong data organisation and analytical skills with a high commitment to accuracy A self-starter who can ask the right questions, learn specific workflows, and take full ownership of assigned processes Proactive communicator who works collaboratively in a small, dynamic finance teamResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance Support regulatory and tax compliance activities in coordination with the broader finance team Prepare and assist with financial reporting — monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles Take complete ownership of assigned accounting processes and ensure timely, accurate execution Work closely with the finance team to understand and document accounting workflows Handle large volumes of financial data with accuracy using Excel and other tools Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as needed Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements where applicable Communicate proactively when clarification or guidance is needed on assigned tasksQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus 4 to 6 years of professional accounting experience with end-to-end process ownership Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close Experience with regulatory reporting and tax filings is preferred Prior experience in a fintech, banking, or financial services environment is an advantage Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and intermediate formulas; familiarity with ERP/accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar) Strong attention to detail, sense of ownership, and ability to manage processes independently in a fast-paced environment
