Hiring: Independent SOC 2 Consultant (Contract | Part-Time or Full-Time | Remote / On-Site)About UsContextine Software is a B2B SaaS company building enterprise workflow software across Complaint Management, Investigation & Case Management, and Audit Management. We've successfully completed two consecutive years of SOC 2 Type II certification and are now looking to further strengthen and refine our compliance posture as we scale.The OpportunityWe're looking to engage an experienced (5-10 years), independent SOC 2 security consultant on a contract basis to work closely with our internal team in a hands-on capacity. This is a pure consulting engagement.Engagement Type: Contract (Part-Time or Full-Time - flexible based on mutual availability)Work Mode: Remote or On-Site (Pune, India) - open to bothDuration: Project-based, through the current certification cycleScope of Work→ Gap assessment against current SOC 2 Type II requirements→ Internal audit support and readiness review→ End-to-end coordination with our external auditor through certification→ Hands-on guidance to challenge and elevate our existing compliance processesWhat We're Looking For→ Deep, practical experience with SOC 2 Type II engagements - not theoretical, but battle-tested→ Prior experience working with SaaS or technology companies→ Ability to independently assess gaps, recommend remediation, and guide internal teams→ Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style→ Experience coordinating with external audit firms through the certification lifecycleGood to Have:→ Familiarity with Trust Services Criteria (Security, Availability, Confidentiality, etc.)→ Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor→ Experience working with Indian SaaS companies or GCC environmentsWhy Work With UsWe're not starting from scratch.
