About the RoleWe are building one of India’s most aggressive IPO origination platforms  across SME and Main Board.The VP – Business Development( IPO Origination & Capital Markets), Mumbai will lead a dedicated origination pod, responsible for sourcing IPO mandates, building promoter relationships, and driving revenue generation.This is a leadership + P&L ownership role, where you will not only originate deals but also build and scale your own team.Key Responsibilities1. IPO Mandate OriginationSource and close IPO mandates (SME + Main Board)Identify companies with:PAT ₹5–100+ CrStrong growth visibilityIPO readiness (6–24 months horizon)Build a strong pipeline of mid-market promoters2. Team Leadership (Origination Pod)Lead a team of 4–6 members (associates + analysts)Drive:Daily calling / outreach activityMeetings with promoters / intermediariesPipeline tracking and conversionsCreate a high-performance, target-driven culture3. Relationship Building & Network ExpansionDevelop deep relationships with:Promoters / foundersChartered Accountants / consultantsIndustry associations / clustersBuild a strong referral ecosystem for deal flow4. Deal Conversion & StrategyLead pitching, negotiation, and mandate closureWork with internal teams to:Position valuation narrativesStructure IPO strategyEnsure smooth handover to execution team5.
