The specialist will play a key role in defining benchmarking scope, synthesizing insights, and prescribing a practical roadmap for performance improvement. This is a fully remote role.Key Responsibilities:Conduct secondary research across transportation, infrastructure, regulatory, and cross-industry domainsDesign and define benchmarking frameworks, scope, metrics, and comparison modelsIdentify industry, regulatory, and peer best practices (global and regional)Perform comparative benchmarking and maturity assessmentsTranslate research insights into actionable recommendations and roadmapsDevelop high-quality research reports, insights decks, and executive summariesCollaborate with client stakeholders to refine assumptions and validate findingsMandatory Experience & Qualifications5+ years of experience in benchmarking, primary/secondary research, or management researchHands-on experience in the Transportation industry (rail, metro, aviation, roads, logistics, or public transport authorities)Prior experience working with or for a research / consulting firm is mandatoryStrong expertise in benchmarking studies, best-practice analysis, and performance comparisonsAbility to independently structure and execute research initiativesKey SkillsBenchmarking & peer comparison methodologiesIndustry and regulatory researchAnalytical thinking and synthesis of complex informationStrong written communication and storytelling skillsStakeholder communication and presentation skillsEngagement ModelIndividual contributor roleProject-based or long-term engagement (flexible)
