We are on a mission to make healthcare more accessible, seamless, and customer-centric.Role OverviewWe are looking for a seasoned professional to lead Insurance Partnerships at FlashAid. This role will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling relationships with insurance companies across general and life insurance segments.The ideal candidate brings deep industry experience, strong insurer relationships, and hands-on exposure to underwriting, policy issuance, and claims processes—preferably from a broker or intermediary background.Key ResponsibilitiesPartnership Development & ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies (general & life insurers)Drive strategic partnerships to enable innovative insurance products and distribution modelsNegotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and partnership structuresInsurer & Underwriter EngagementWork closely with underwriters to design and customize insurance productsFacilitate smooth policy issuance processes and resolve underwriting bottlenecksAct as the primary bridge between FlashAid and insurer teamsClaims & Operations CollaborationCoordinate with insurers to streamline claims processes and improve turnaround timesEscalate and resolve complex claims issues with insurer partnersEnsure high service quality and customer satisfactionProduct & Growth EnablementCollaborate with internal teams (product, tech, operations) to co-create insurance offeringsIdentify new opportunities for embedded insurance, group policies, and partnershipsSupport go-to-market strategies and scaling of insurance productsMarket IntelligenceStay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offeringsLeverage insights to strengthen FlashAid’s insurance partnerships strategyKey RequirementsExperience8–15+ years of experience in insurance partnerships / business developmentStrong background in general insurance and/or life insurancePrior experience working with insurance brokers, aggregators, or intermediaries preferredProven track record of managing insurer relationships and closing partnershipsDomain ExpertiseDeep understanding of:Underwriting processesPolicy issuance workflowsClaims management lifecycleStrong network and connections with:Insurance companiesUnderwritersClaims teamsSkillsExcellent negotiation and stakeholder management skillsStrong problem-solving ability, especially in claims and underwriting scenariosAbility to operate in a fast-paced, startup environmentStrategic thinking with execution focusWhat We’re Looking ForSomeone who knows the insurance ecosystem inside-outA relationship-driven leader with deep connects across insurersA builder who can create partnerships from scratch and scale themComfortable navigating ambiguity and driving outcomesWhy Join FlashAidOpportunity to build and lead insurance partnerships from the ground upWork at the intersection of healthcare, fintech, and insuranceHigh ownership and impact role in a fast-growing company
