Bengaluru.About the Role: What You’ll Do: Deliver Hands-On Testing Across Store Systems: Execute test cases and validate features for both legacy POS and DSP mobile app experiences.Perform manual testing, regression testing, and basic API/service validation.Follow acceptance criteria to ensure features meet functional and nonfunctional expectations.Participate Fully as Part of an Agile Team:Attend sprint ceremonies and collaborate daily with developers and product partners.Work with BAs, PMs, UX, and tech leads to clarify requirements and design effective test scenarios.Strengthen Regression, Coverage, and Testing Quality:Update regression test cases as features evolve.Provide feedback on automation opportunities and coverage gaps.Assist with end to end workflow testing to ensure systems integrate smoothly.Support Automation & CI/CD Under Guidance:Partner with developers to automate test cases using Appium/Java/Cucumber.Contribute to CI/CD testing pipelines and help maintain test stability.Improve Quality Using Production Insight:Log defects clearly, track them through resolution, and escalate store impacting issues.Support reproduction of production defects to improve test coverage and automation.Use observability tools (Splunk, Firebase, Dynatrace, Quantum Metric) to understand issue impact and risk.Help Set Up Testing Environments & Data:Identify test data needs and ensure proper environment setup.Test across POS devices, peripherals, and Android hardware using tools like Charles/Proxyman and mobile cloud labs.What You Bring: Required Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in Quality Engineering or software testing.Exposure to POS workflows (sales, returns, discounts, payments).Exposure to Native Android Application testing.Experience with manual, regression, and feature testing.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON validation.Basic experience or exposure to Appium/Java/Cucumber is a plus.Exploratory testing of new in store hardware (i.e. new Zebra handhelds).Experience with JIRA, qTest, or similar test management tools.Exposure to POS hardware, Android devices, and Android Studio.Experience with mobile test labs like Kobiton, Sauce Labs, Device Anywhere.Strong communication, problem solving, and reliability in delivering quality work.Why You’ll Love Working Here: You’ll directly influence day to day store operations and customer experiences.You’ll grow your technical skills with automation, APIs, and CI/CD.You’ll work with a supportive team that values quality and collaboration.You’ll build a strong foundation in retail technology and store systems testing.You’ll learn how features move from idea development store floor, and how to make that journey smoother.
