Role Overview - This role is fully responsible for bringing, managing, and retaining manpower for the spinning mill. The person should be strong in Man mobilizing and retaining workers. - Should be strong in handling the supervisors, unions (if any), and compliance, while maintaining discipline, safety, and productivity. Key Responsibilities 1. Manpower Mobilization**** - Arrange continuous supply of workers (helpers, doffers, ring frame operators, technicians, etc.) - Handle bulk hiring from local areas and other states (if required) - Coordinate with contractors / labour suppliers - Ensure shift-wise manpower availability (no shortage during production) - Reduce absenteeism and attrition on the shop floor - Maintain a backup workforce plan during peak demand 2. Shop Floor HR Handling*** - Daily rounds in departments like Blow Room, Carding, Drawing, Simplex, Ring Frame, Autoconer - Monitor attendance, discipline, and behaviour of workers - Handle grievances immediately (wages, supervisor issues, shift problems) - Work closely with production team to avoid manpower-related stoppages 3. Employee Relations (ER) – Practical Level 4. Industrial Relations (IR) 5. Statutory Compliance 6. Administration & Worker Welfare (Very Important in Textile Units) Key Skills Required: - Experience in manpower sourcing from villages / other states - Good at handling pressure and worker issues anytime - Mass Hiring & Labour Management - Worker Handling & Discipline Control - IR Case Handling (real-time situations) - Labour Law Practical Knowledge - Conflict Resolution
