We Are Hiring Designation: Incubation Manager Experience • 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in startup incubation, innovation management, or entrepreneurship development • Prior experience in incubation centres, accelerators, venture building, or startup ecosystems preferred • Experience in mentoring startups, fundraising, and stakeholder management is an added advantage Education • PG or Master's degree in Business Administration or related field. • MBA or certification in entrepreneurship, innovation, or startup management will be an advantage --- Role Summary The Incubation Manager is responsible for leading and managing the overall operations of the incubation center. The role focuses on developing and executing incubation strategies, supporting startup growth, building partnerships, and driving innovation initiatives. The position requires close coordination with startups, mentors, investors, industry partners, and academic stakeholders to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. --- Roles and Responsibilities Incubation Strategy & Program Management • Design, implement, and manage incubation and acceleration programs • Develop strategies to attract high-potential startups and innovators • Oversee startup selection, onboarding, and evaluation processes • Monitor progress and performance of incubated startups Startup Mentoring & Growth Support • Guide startups on business strategy, scaling, and market expansion • Facilitate access to mentors, domain experts, and advisory networks • Support startups in product development, validation, and commercialization • Provide inputs on business models, financial planning, and growth strategies Partnerships & Ecosystem Development • Build and manage relationships with industry partners, investors, government bodies, and ecosystem enablers • Establish collaborations with corporates, academic institutions, and innovation networks • Organize networking events, demo days, and startup showcases Funding & Investor Relations • Support startups in fundraising through grants, seed funding, and venture capital • Build connections with angel investors, VCs, and funding agencies • Guide startups in pitch preparation and investor engagement Operations & Team Management • Oversee day-to-day operations of the incubation center • Manage incubation team, assign responsibilities, and ensure performance • Ensure effective utilization of infrastructure, resources, and facilities Data Management & Reporting • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as startup growth, funding raised, and success rates • Maintain database of startups, mentors, and ecosystem partners • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders Compliance & Governance • Ensure adherence to institutional policies and government incubation guidelines • Maintain proper documentation of incubation activities and funding • Support audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance Outreach & Promotion • Drive outreach initiatives to promote incubation programs • Conduct workshops, bootcamps, and awareness sessions on entrepreneurship • Represent the incubation center at events, conferences, and industry forums Process Improvement & Innovation • Identify gaps in incubation processes and implement improvements • Introduce new programs and initiatives to strengthen the incubation ecosystem • Stay updated with industry trends, startup ecosystem developments, and best practices --- Required Skills and Competencies • Strong understanding of startup ecosystem and innovation landscape • Expertise in business strategy, fundraising, and startup lifecycle • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Strong networking and stakeholder management abilities • Effective communication and presentation skills • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) --- Personal Attributes • Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial mindset • Proactive, result-oriented, and self-driven • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment --- Working Conditions • Office-based role with frequent interaction with startups, investors, and industry partners • Flexibility to work during events, investor meetings, and incubation programs • Dynamic, fast-paced, and innovation-driven work environment
