Job Description

Role- Product Growth & Experience We are looking for a high-impact DGM to drive product-led growth for the Airtel Thanks App. This role will focus on optimizing user journeys, building high-engagement features, and unlocking growth across key business lines through superior app experience and innovation. The ideal candidate blends product thinking, growth strategy, and design sensibility to drive measurable improvements in engagement, frequency, and transactions. Key Responsibilities- 1. Product-Led Growth & Journey Optimization- - Own end-to-end optimization of key user journeys across the app to drive conversion, engagement, and repeat usage. - Identify friction points and unlock growth through data-driven experimentation and UX improvements. 2. Feature Development & Innovation- - Conceptualize and launch new app features that drive frequency of visits and deepen user engagement. - Drive roadmap for high-impact growth features across categories (Mobility, WiFi, Finance, Bank, IR, etc.). - Collaborate closely with product and tech teams to ensure timely execution and high-quality delivery. 3. Competitive Benchmarking & Best Practices- - Continuously track global and Indian app ecosystems (e.g., super apps, fintech, e-commerce). - Bring in best-in-class ideas across features, journeys, and marketing inventories (e.g., in-app placements, new formats). 4. Marketing Inventory & Monetization Levers- - Identify and build new in-app marketing surfaces (placements, formats, triggers) to drive cross-sell and upsell. - Optimize existing inventories to maximize visibility and conversion. - Work with stakeholders to ensure effective utilization across LOBs. 5. Design & Experience Leadership- - Bring a strong UX/design lens to ensure intuitive, seamless, and delightful user experiences - Partner with design teams to elevate app UI/UX standards Key Success Metrics - Increase in app DAU/MAU and visit frequency - Improvement in key funnel conversion rates - Adoption and performance of newly launched features Ideal Candidate Profile- - 7-8 years of experience in product growth, digital product management, or app-led businesses. - Experience of working in core e-commerce companies is a MUST. - Strong experience in driving growth through journey optimization and feature innovation. - Deep understanding of app ecosystems, consumer behavior, and funnel metrics. - Proven track record of working in cross-functional environments. - Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate insights into execution. - Good design/UX sensibility with attention to detail.
