Visit .Role OverviewWe are looking for a driven and technically proficient Electrical Engineer to join our Sales & Service team based in Pune. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in the plastics machinery sector, specifically in plastic injection moulding machines and auxiliaries, and will be comfortable managing both pre-sales technical discussions and after-sales service engagements with customers.Key ResponsibilitiesSalesIdentify, develop, and convert sales opportunities for our equipment in the assigned territoryConduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution pitching to plastic processors and OEM customersPrepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender responsesAchieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team revenue goalsBuild and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in the plastics industryMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategyCoordinate with the internal team for order processing, delivery timelines, and payment follow-upsAfter-Sales ServiceProvide on-site installation, commissioning, and start-up support for our equipmentDiagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, and PLC-related faults on our equipment at customer sitesExecute planned preventive maintenance and periodic inspection servicesTrain customer operators and maintenance personnel on safe machine operation and basic troubleshootingMaintain detailed service records, site visit reports, and spare parts consumption logsEnsure timely resolution of customer complaints to maximize machine uptime and customer satisfactionCoordinate with the service team for escalations, spare parts procurement, and warranty claimsRequired Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Mechatronics EngineeringMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Sales and/or Service of capital goods in the plastics industryDemonstrated experience with plastic injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment (material dryers, chillers, hopper loaders, temperature controllers, conveyors, etc.)Sound knowledge of electrical control panels, PLC/HMI systems, servo drives, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems on injection moulding machinesFamiliarity with all major machine brands Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and machine manualsValid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regionKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong technical acumen in electrical & automation systems for plastic processing machineryExcellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills in English and HindiProven ability to close technical sales and manage the full sales cycle independentlyProblem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of CRM tools is an advantageHigh degree of self-motivation, ownership, and professional integrityWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation with performance-linked incentives INR 7 - 12 Lacs per annumCompany-provided tools, equipment, and travel support for field assignmentsOngoing product training on latest technologiesA collaborative, growth-oriented work environment with clear career advancement opportunitiesOpportunity to work with a wide range of customers across the plastics processing ecosystemHow to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to send their updated resume along with a brief cover letter to:Email: Please mention 'Electrical Engineer – Sales & Service – Pune' in the subject line.Website: Selplast is an equal opportunity employer.
