Purpose of the roleThe AGM – Logistics is a critical member of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function at CCL Products (India) Limited, a leading manufacturer and exporter of premium instant coffee products. This role is responsible for end-to-end logistics execution across both domestic and international channels — encompassing vendor development, rate contracting, freight forwarding management, EXIM coordination, and timely dispatch of finished goods from plant locations. The incumbent will serve as the central point of accountability for On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance, cost-efficient freight procurement, and seamless coordination with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure that CCL's export-led growth strategy is supported by a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective logistics backbone.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, onboard, and manage transporters, FFAs, CHA, and CFS/ICD partners; conduct performance reviews and maintain backup vendor networks.Plan and execute primary/secondary domestic movements and international shipments (FCL/LCL/air) aligned with production and demand.Manage bookings, vehicle placement, container stuffing, port coordination, and ensure adherence to INCO terms.Track end-to-end shipments, monitor OTD, resolve delays, and coordinate with transporters, CHA, and internal teams for smooth operations.Ensure accurate and timely preparation of export/import documents (BL, COO, Invoice, LC compliance, etc.) and maintain audit-ready records.Negotiate freight rates (annual and spot), benchmark costs, analyze spending, and drive savings through consolidation and optimization.Act as the key interface across Production, Sales, Finance, and vendors; provide MIS reports, dashboards, and regular status updates. Ensure regulatory compliance (Customs, DGFT, GST), manage insurance and risks, and drive ERP/TMS-based tracking, reporting, and process digitization.
