This role is critical to ensuring high availability, performance, and stability of mission‑critical applications, while leading incident management and proactive database improvements.Key Skills & Expertise9+ years of experience in Oracle DBA rolesMinimum 3+ years in L3 Production SupportStrong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c, 12c, 11gExpertise in RAC (Clustering) and Data GuardProven experience in:Performance tuningBackup & recoveryShell scriptingLeading technical bridge/incident callsExadata / ExaCC experience (minimum 3+ years)Working knowledge of MongoDB, MSSQL Server, BigQuery, SQL Server for Cloud, GoldenGateExcellent verbal and written communication skillsConfident in engaging and influencing senior stakeholdersKey ResponsibilitiesLead database engagement during major incident bridges for critical applicationsOwn and manage a queue of support requests and escalationsTroubleshoot complex and unbounded issues to drive root-cause resolutionAct as a subject matter expert for database usage for cross-functional and non-technical teamsCollaborate with Unix, Storage, and Network teams to ensure end-to-end resolutionDrive initiatives focused on:Database hygieneProactive improvementsMigrations and modernization projects
