Position - Senior Piping Stress EngineerLocation - Vashi, Navi MumbaiQualifications - B. E / B.Tech MechanicalExperience - 8-10+ YearsResponsibilitiesPerform pipe stress and flexibility analysis using CAESAR II as per ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8.Analyze sustained, thermal, operating, occasional (wind/seismic), and dynamic loads (water hammer, surge).Conduct stress analysis for piping connected to pumps, compressors, turbines, exchangers, vessels, and PSVs.Resolve high nozzle loads and secondary stresses; perform trunnion and jacketed piping analysis.Design and select pipe supports including spring hangers; provide pipe load data to civil/structural teams.Review piping isometrics, prepare critical line lists, and complete stress analysis documentation.Coordinate with layout, civil, vendors, and construction teams for routing and support resolution.Technical Required SkillsProficient in CAESAR II, working knowledge of ROHR2, PRG Nozzle PRO, and FE-Bend.Strong knowledge of ASME B31, API 610/617/662, and NEMA SM-23 standards.Experience in pipe support design, flange leakage checks, and expansion loop optimization.Good understanding of piping flexibility, equipment protection, and multidisciplinary coordination.About UsFounded in 1988, PMECH is a global leader in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) services.
