Join AMPIN Energy Transition’s Procurement team!We are looking to hire for our procurement team in Delhi.If you have an expertise in overseeing the procurement of materials and services required for Wind energy projects, then this is the role for you!How you will contribute:Supplier Selection and Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for Wind project components, including Wind Turbines, electrical panels, cables, Foundation material, 33kV line materials, Tower Materials. Unit Substation Materials and other necessary equipment.Negotiate contractual terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards. Monitor and assess supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts and quality expectations.Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies to optimize project budgets. Continuously evaluate market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with the project team to control procurement expenses and achieve cost targets.Materials and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring that project sites have the necessary materials and equipment. Oversee the ordering and delivery of materials, coordinating with project schedules to avoid delays.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured materials meet quality and safety standards. Implement quality control procedures to minimize defects and errors in Wind components.Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, including terms and conditions, warranties, and service agreements. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and emerging suppliers. Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and finance, to ensure procurement aligns with project goals and timelines. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on procurement status and issues.Ideal Skills for this role include:Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical) is a must, Certifications in procurement or supply chain management may be a plus.7-12 years proven experience in procurement, particularly in the renewable energy or Wind industry for experience candidate for Associate or Managerial position.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Knowledge of Wind components, materials, and suppliers.Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
