The role involves overseeing academic excellence, faculty development, research initiatives, regulatory compliance, and institutional growth. The candidate must bring strong experience in teaching, administration, and leadership within a reputed physiotherapy or paramedical institution.Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership:Lead curriculum planning, development, and implementation aligned with regulatory standardsEnsure high-quality teaching, learning, and evaluation processesPromote interdisciplinary education across medical and allied health sciencesAdministrative Management:Oversee daily academic and administrative operations of the schoolDevelop and implement policies, procedures, and institutional strategiesEnsure compliance with statutory and accreditation bodiesFaculty Management:Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty membersEncourage continuous professional development and research activitiesFoster a collaborative and high-performance academic environmentResearch & Development:Promote research culture, publications, and funded projectsEstablish collaborations with healthcare institutions and universitiesSupport innovation in teaching methodologies and healthcare practicesStudent Development:Ensure student-centric learning environmentMonitor student performance, discipline, and career developmentFacilitate placements, internships, and clinical exposureExternal Relations:Build partnerships with hospitals, industries, and academic bodiesRepresent the institution in academic forums and conferencesStrengthen institutional reputation and outreachEligibility Criteria:Education:M.Sc. in Paramedical Sciences / MPT (Master of Physiotherapy)Ph.D. in relevant discipline (Mandatory)Experience:Minimum 10 years of teaching experienceMinimum 5 years of administrative/leadership experienceExperience in a reputed physiotherapy or medical/paramedical college preferredKey Skills:Academic leadership and institutional developmentStrong administrative and organizational skillsKnowledge of healthcare education regulations and accreditationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrategic planning and decision-making abilityResearch orientation and publication experienceAdditional Requirements:Campus accommodation preferred / willingness to stay on campusStrong ethical values and commitment to academic excellenceAbility to handle multidisciplinary teams
