Job Title: Head / Senior Manager – Accounts & FinanceLocation: Kurla, MumbaiReporting To: Director / ManagementRole Overview:We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounts & Finance leader to head the entire finance function. This role requires strong expertise in financial control, regulatory compliance, reporting, and strategic finance, especially within a regulated environment.The candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and supporting business growth through effective financial planning and analysis.Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Accounting & ReportingOversee end-to-end accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and payroll accounting Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts Preparation and review of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards Drive accurate and timely MIS reporting for management review 2. Compliance & Regulatory ManagementEnsure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other statutory requirements Manage internal and external audits, including statutory and tax audits Handle regulatory compliance with bodies such as Securities and Exchange Board of India, National Stock Exchange, and Bombay Stock Exchange (if applicable) Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports and returns 3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Provide strategic insights to management for business decision-making Monitor and analyze cost structures, profitability, and financial performance 4. Treasury & Cash Flow ManagementManage cash flows, banking relationships, and fund allocation Optimize working capital and liquidity planning Oversee payment cycles and ensure efficient fund utilization 5. Internal Controls & Process ImprovementEstablish and strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs Identify areas for automation and process efficiency Ensure risk mitigation and adherence to governance standards 6. Team Management & LeadershipLead, mentor, and manage the accounts and finance team Drive a culture of accountability, accuracy, and compliance Coordinate with cross-functional teams for financial alignment Key Requirements:Qualification: CA (preferred) / MBA Finance / Equivalent Experience: 8–12+ years in Accounts & Finance, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance frameworks Experience in handling audits, regulatory filings, and financial reporting Prior experience in financial services, broking, NBFC, or fintech is highly preferred Hands-on experience with accounting software / ERP systems Key Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High level of ownership and accountability Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Preferred Profile:Candidate with prior experience in a regulated environment dealing with SEBI / Exchange compliance Exposure to scaling finance functions in a growing organization
