This role will play a critical part in managing client onboarding, ensuring adherence to AML/KYC regulations, and maintaining robust compliance processes across the business.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial crime compliance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced fintech environment while coordinating closely with the UK Compliance team.Key Responsibilities1. Client Onboarding & Due DiligenceManage end-to-end client onboarding processes, ensuring full compliance with internal and regulatory requirementsConduct KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) checks, including document verification and risk classificationPerform enhanced due diligence (EDD) for high-risk clientsEnsure onboarding SLAs are met without compromising compliance standards2. AML & Transaction MonitoringExecute AML (Anti-Money Laundering) controls and monitoring proceduresReview client transactions and flag unusual or suspicious activitiesEscalate potential risks or compliance breaches to the Head of ComplianceSupport investigations and maintain proper case documentation3. Regulatory Compliance & ControlsEnsure compliance with applicable UK and international regulations relevant to the businessSupport internal audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance assessmentsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices4. Policy Implementation & Process ImprovementAssist in implementing compliance policies, frameworks, and SOPs across the organizationIdentify gaps in current processes and recommend improvementsSupport automation and system enhancements for onboarding and compliance tracking5. Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product teams to ensure compliance requirements are embedded in workflowsProvide guidance on onboarding requirements and compliance standardsLiaise with the UK Compliance team for escalations, reporting, and alignment6. Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate and audit-ready records of onboarding, due diligence, and compliance checksPrepare compliance reports, dashboards, and risk summaries for managementEnsure proper documentation for regulatory and internal audit purposesKey RequirementsBachelor’s degree in finance, Law, Business, or a related field3–6 years of experience in Compliance, AML/KYC, or Financial Crime rolesStrong understanding of client onboarding, due diligence, and risk assessmentExperience in fintech, payments, or financial services preferredFamiliarity with UK or international compliance frameworks is an advantageHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesStarting salary: INR 65,000 per month
