The Deputy Registrar will oversee academic and administrative operations, including managing student admissions, maintaining student records, and coordinating examinations. The role involves ensuring compliance with university policies, handling staff and faculty coordination, preparing reports, and streamlining administrative processes. The Deputy Registrar will also play an essential role in policy implementation, addressing grievances, and ensuring the smooth execution of academic schedules.Qualification• Postgraduate degree from a recognized university Preference will be given to candidates with additional qualifications in administration / managementExperience• Minimum 20–25 years of experience in the education sector• At least 07 to 10 years of experience as an Assistant Registrar of a university / higher education institution• Strong knowledge of academic administration, regulatory frameworks, and university proceduresKey Responsibilities•Assist the Registrar in managing academic and administrative functions •Oversee student records, examinations, and academic processes •Ensure compliance with university regulations and statutory bodies •Coordinate with departments, faculty, and external agencies •Handle policy implementation and institutional documentationDesired Skills•Excellent leadership and organisational abilities •Strong communication and interpersonal skills •Proficiency in administrative software and digital systems •Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Experience in policy formulation and understanding of regulatory norms would be an advantage
