Its diverse team and advanced technology enable the company to deliver world-class products and maintain enduring client relationships.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Noida for an Assistant Manager in Research & Development. The Assistant Manager will oversee and conduct market research, analyze data to identify industry trends, design research methodologies, and develop innovative solutions aligned with business strategies. They will also collaborate with various teams to translate customer and market insights into actionable plans, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of the industry.Total Compensation : 5 – 7 Lac annuallyJob Purpose: To ensure effective quality planning and assurance for new product development (NPD), customer requirements, and production processes by managing RFQs, design validation, prototyping, and PPAP approvals while maintaining compliance with customer and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. New Product Development (NPD) & Benchmarking Lead quality involvement in New Product Development activities. Conduct benchmarking studies to analyze competitor products and establish quality standards. Ensure quality requirements are incorporated during product development stages. 2. RFQ Handling & Feasibility Review and analyze customer RFQs from a quality perspective. Conduct Design Feasibility and Manufacturing Feasibility studies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality commitments during quotation stage. 3. DFMEA & Risk Analysis Prepare and review Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). Identify potential risks and implement preventive actions. Drive continuous improvement through risk mitigation strategies. 4. Design & Tooling Support Support product design activities using AutoCAD or equivalent tools. Coordinate development and validation of new tooling. Ensure tooling meets quality, dimensional, and performance requirements. 5. Prototyping & Validation Manage prototype development and evaluation. Ensure prototypes meet design intent and customer specifications. Coordinate testing, validation, and necessary design modifications. 6. Customer PPAP & Documentation Prepare and submit PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documents. Ensure timely submission and approval of PSW (Part Submission Warrant). Interface with customers for approvals, clarifications, and audits. 7. Cross-functional Coordination Work closely with design, production, and supply chain teams. Ensure smooth transition from development to mass production.Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Quality Core Tools (DFMEA, PPAP, etc.) Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer handling skills Knowledge of manufacturing processes (preferably rubber / automotive components) Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Polymer / Rubber / Production Engineering Experience: 5–8 years of experience in Quality / NPD in manufacturing industry Preferred Industry: Automotive / Rubber / V-Belt / Industrial ProductsQualifications Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data and identify trends Expertise in Market Research and the ability to analyze competitive landscapes Proficiency in Communication to collaborate with teams and present findings effectively Experience in Questionnaire Design for effective data collection Comprehensive understanding of Research methodologies and tools Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business, or related disciplines Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Prior experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry is a plus
